Added to that, I’ve been able to talk directly to customers, even meeting up with them face-to-face, either in their “real-life” environment or during user conferences at some very glamorous locations. I’ve been constantly surprised at what I don’t know, and have always loved the way that product management has allowed me to keep learning.

This was a great two-day gathering of hundreds of product management leaders and product managers from across Europe and around the globe. In addition to my presentation on Effectively Communicating ProductRoadmaps, I participated in two panel discussions and tried to take in as many of the other presentations as I could.
One group (sales, implementation/customer success, professional services, account-based marketing) is trained and paid and rewarded to focus on one customer at a time , with current-quarter timelines. Last week I had the pleasure of attending the ProductCraft conference , a one-day event for product managers in San Francisco.
